Mayibuyi Conducted a drugs awareness and youth empowerment at EASTBURY SECONDARY SCHOOL . The organisation emphasized the importance of drugs as a root cause of social problems like Hiv & Aids, Crime, Poverty, Alcohol abuse, early pregnancy, bulling at school and Gangstarism to +- 350 learners.
Learners were informed of the extent of drugs, drugs can lead a person to jail, death, brain damage, poor health status, heart problem. Learners were also encouraged to create a strong partnership with their local SAPS personnel by reporting any drugs activities taking place in their residential areas or visit D.S.D, Department of health and other local organisation fighting drugs like P.L.D.A.C for help.
